How a referral works
- Statutory basis
- Children Act 1989 / homelessness duty
- Who refers
- Social worker / housing options
- Referral route
- Children's services, a leaving care team or a midwifery or health visiting team refers, normally with a child in need or child protection plan attached where one exists.
- Eligibility
- Usually for parents aged 16 to 25 with a child under school age. Provision for parents aged 16 and 17 must be Ofsted registered, and Roomfy does not list it without a verified registration number.
